Harbour and fish: Port Royal and Hellshire

Port Royal sits at the mouth of Kingston Harbour — the old pirate city, the naval story, the view back at the mountains. It is a slower morning than a museum queue, and it pairs naturally with Hellshire Beach: fried fish, festival bread, and your feet in the sand.

This is the Kingston day that tastes like Jamaica. Wear something you can get salty. Tickets and fish are usually extra; the van stays with you.

Up in the clouds: Blue Mountains coffee

The Blue Mountains sit above Kingston. An early start gets you to a coffee farm while the air is still cool. It is a winding road. That is the point. Couples often book the Alphard for this one; groups take the Hiace.
