Who we are

What this website does not collect

There is no on-site payment form. We never ask for a card number, Cash App PIN, or PayPal password on these pages.

We do not run a guest login, a review form we moderate, or advertising or analytics cookies. If your browser stores a technical cookie for the map or the host, that is not a marketing profile we read.

What you send us

The quote form (name, phone, service, pickup, drop-off, date, headcount, and optional notes such as a flight number) stays in your browser until you tap Text / iMessage or either WhatsApp desk. The site then opens a prefilled message. We do not store that form on our own server.

Once you send the message, the thread lives with us on the phone and in SMS, iMessage, or WhatsApp, so we can quote, confirm, and meet you.

• Trip facts you type in chat: hotel, villa pin, flight, ship, all-aboard, headcount, luggage, child seats.
• The USD total we confirm, and that you accepted a date.
• The part-payment you send off-site (we see that it arrived; Cash App and PayPal hold the payment record).
• Call logs and emails if you use those instead of chat.

How we use it

We use trip details to quote in USD, hold a date after you accept the total, send a driver to the right door, and follow up if a flight moves. We do not sell your details or rent a mailing list.

Payments

After you accept a USD total in chat, a 20% part-payment via Cash App or PayPal holds the date. The remaining balance is settled off-site (cash or another method we agree in the thread). Cash App and PayPal are their own companies. Their privacy notices apply to the payment itself. We never ask you to type those passwords into this website.

Messages, maps, and hosting

SMS and iMessage travel through your phone carrier and Apple. WhatsApp is a Meta service. Their terms apply to those apps.

The Jamaica map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Loading the map can send a technical request (such as an IP address) to those tile servers so the map can draw.

The website is hosted on Vercel. The host may keep ordinary server logs (IP address, pages requested) to keep the site up. We do not use those logs to profile guests.

Photos

Guest photographs on this site were supplied by the operator from real trips. They are testimonials, not a public album you upload yourself. Landmark stills on some cards come from Wikimedia Commons. We do not scrape hotel galleries or TripAdvisor for names or photos.

How long we keep trip details

We keep booking threads and pickup notes for as long as we need them to run the trip, handle a change or refund, and keep ordinary business records in Jamaica. We do not keep card numbers because we never take them here.

Your choices

Jamaica’s Data Protection Act treats trip details as personal data. Email margarettoursjamaica@gmail.com, or use +1 (876) 358-5458 (calls, text, iMessage, and WhatsApp) or WhatsApp +1 (876) 436-9943, if you want to know what we hold, correct a name or phone number, or ask us to drop a thread that is no longer needed for a booking or a legal record. We will still need enough of a booking to finish a trip that is already held.

US and Canadian guests: we are a Jamaican operator. We do not run targeted ads from this site. Asking us to delete a live booking thread is the same as cancelling the chat for that trip — use the Refunds & cancellations page if a held date is involved.

Children

A parent or guardian books. Children can ride as passengers. We do not ask children to fill the quote form.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page. The date at the top of the page is the one that applies. A booking already confirmed in chat keeps the terms we gave you in that thread if they differ for that trip.
