Dunn’s River Falls from Montego Bay: is the private tour worth the drive?

How long is Dunn’s River from Montego Bay?

Plan a full morning and an early afternoon. Leave after breakfast, not at noon. The coast road east passes Falmouth and then opens toward Ocho Rios. Midday entry lines are the part guests underestimate. We would rather have you on the terraces while the light is still kind than standing in a car park at the hottest hour.

Falmouth hotels are closer than Montego Bay and still a longer commitment than a cruise call already docked in Ocho Rios. Negril to Dunn’s River is a different trip — say so if that is your hotel, and we will tell you whether the day still makes sense. Do not add Negril’s sunset to the same date.
